NHV Group is a European based helicopter service provider, specialised in business-to-business helicopter services both offshore & onshore.
The TRI/TRE/Commander role will primarily involve commander duties, with the remaining time dedicated to TRI/TRE responsibilities.
The main purpose is to execute scheduled shuttle flights in the most cost effective and safe manner in accordance with aviation regularities and NHV standards.
As Commander, you report locally to the Flight Operations Manager.
As a TRI/TRE you are responsible for the training and examining of the pilots in accordance with NHV, Airbus Helicopters and EASA standards and guidelines.
The function of TRI/TRE reports to the Training Manager.
Commander duties:
Understanding the client's business & needs, under the decision and supervision of the Chief Pilot.
Conducting a safe, comfortable and efficient flight, with the assistance of a Co-Pilot.
Acting responsible to the Flight Ops and/or the Base Manager.
Maintaining familiarity with the relevant international air legislation, agreed aviation practices and local procedures.
Maintaining familiarity with NHV's Operations Manual, FOI's and other related manuals, procedures and instructions for fulfilling the job.
Taking care that all administrative flight duties are fulfilled, with the help of the Co-Pilot. Guiding and instructing the Co-Pilot where and when necessary, in these duties.
Carrying out flight duties, in accordance with NHV's SOP's, limitations and performance related to the allocated helicopter type.
Taking care of tasks forwarded by the Base Manager/Chief Pilot to the crew for offshore operations (Oil & Gas).
Leading by example and promoting a team spirit amongst colleagues.
Respecting the code of conduct and overall behavior towards the whole NHV team, as well as respecting the 'Drugs & Alcohol' policy.
Respecting the local content, culture and environment and adapt accordingly.
Knowing and playing the procedures & processes (operational, quality, safety...) installed by the company.
TRI/TRE duties
Coach and train the pilots during the training sessions.
Provide thorough briefings prior to the training.
Give well-grounded feedback to the pilots, taking into account all external elements and placed in the right context, ensuring that the pilots are aware of their performances.
Follow-up of the pilots’ tests and performances: evaluate and document the performances and progress.
Perform administrative duties relative to the trainings and exams.
Technical requirements:
EASA ATPL(H) License- mandatory
Valid EASA Class 1 Medical - mandatory
Valid EASA IFR (H) Multi Engine - mandatory
TRI/TRE certified - mandatory
Type rating:
H160 - mandatory
Total expected flight hours:
3000 hours on rotary wing
1500 hours as PIC
1200 hours PIC Multi Engine helicopter
500 hours in similar aircraft complexity
100 hours on contract type
Skills:
Languages:
English Proficiency Level 4
Dutch speaking/understanding is a plus, but not mandatory
Good ICT-knowledge (specific aviation software & administrative programs)
Knows & plays by the procedures & processes (operational, quality, safety...) installed by the company.
Flexible (e.g. for double crewing, standby storm duties ...), a team player, result driven and customer focused.
