Technical Safety and Compliance Manager

The DK Technical Safety and Compliance Manager is the nominated person for the DK AOC and for all QHSE matters. Reporting to the Accountable Manager, you will shape and maintain the organisations commitment to exceptional quality standards.

The role will involve travel to NHV bases and supplier sites will be required. The Technical Safety and Compliance Manager co-operates closely with all organisational subdivisions of NHV.

Responsibilities and areas

· Develop and execute an internal audit plan and lead and manage internal audits, including scoping, planning.

· Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure timely completion of audit projects and prepare and present audit findings and recommendations.

· Develop and improve audit checklists and audit reports.

· Execute product and process audits to check the conformity of the work steps according to the technical product and process requirements, to verify compliance of operational processes with aviation regulations, industry standards, corporate guidelines, or operational procedures, either internally or externally.

· Coach and train auditee to understand the requirements.

· Documentation of audit results in audit reports, definition of deviations, and discussion of the results with the relevant departments or suppliers.

· Documentation of deviations, monitoring deadlines, and tracking corrective and preventive actions.

· Support of the departments in the definition, initiation, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

· Daily management of safety cases in the reporting system

Skills & experience

· Subject Matter Expert in Part 145 and Part M, OR extensive experience within Health, Safety & Environment disciplines

· Experience in a similar role with aviation regulations knowledge

· Experience in risk analysis

· Languages: Danish and English (professional level)

· Ability to follow company procedures and processes (operational, quality, safety …)

· Knowledge of continuous improvement environment

· Knowledge/understanding of regulatory environments - Highly desirable:

- P145

-  Continuing airworthiness
