Are you highly organized, customer-focused, and passionate about aviation? As a Flight Operations Officer, you will play a key role in the day-to-day coordination of our flight operations in Den Helder. You will work closely with pilots, clients, air traffic control, and internal departments to ensure flights are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with aviation regulations.
Reporting to the Service Delivery Lead, this position combines operational coordination with administrative responsibilities.
Your key responsibilities include:
Planning, monitoring, and coordinating daily flight operations.
Preparing flight schedules, operational documentation, and crew briefings.
Monitoring weather conditions and operational notices (NOTAMs).
Managing pilot schedules and supporting compliance with Flight Time Limitations (FTL).
Acting as a primary contact for clients regarding flight schedules, changes, and operational updates.
Coordinating with air traffic control, airport authorities, and internal departments to support operational readiness.
Maintaining accurate operational records and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Previous experience in an operational, planning, or aviation-related role is an advantage, but not essential.

Good IT skills and confidence working with scheduling and operational systems.
Fluency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and varying working hours when required.
